We have posted a new version of SiteHound for Firefox 3 which is due for official launch on the 17th of June.
Unfortunately we have not yet managed to solve one bug impacting Firefox 3 on Windows Vista, but we are working on that, and hope to have it resolved soon.
You do not need to uninstall SiteHound first, and so you can install the new version over the old.

Thanks Richard, a full rewrite of SiteHound is on the cards soon as we want to make SiteHound a lot more subtle, and less intrusive :)

Yesterday, June 18, 2008, I downloaded and installed Firefox 3.0 on my computer and the program works fine. I then downloaded and successfully installed the new version of Sitehound for Firefox 3.0, but immediately ran into compatibility problems when attempting to open Firefox 3.0. I could not get Firefox 3.0 to open at all, with Sitehound installed. I then uninstalled Sitehound and was once again able to open Firefox 3.0 without a problem. Note: I never had a compatibility problem with Firefox 2.0 and the original Sitehound. Please be advised that my operating system is Windows XP Pro, with Service Pack 2. I do not use Windows VISTA. Downloaded from the link above. It said it installed successfully. Firefox says it is not compatible. Now what???
Sitehound is working but if I try to open options within the program it locks firefox up and it has to be restarted. What's up with that?
Couldn't install SH 2.0 successfully, until Firetrust support person advised me to disable antivirus gear during the installation. Am using AVG, and all I had to do was to disable the Resident Shield, and SH installed fully, including the toolbar, which is its essential part in practice.

I have installed Firefox 3 and after quite a bit of experimentation have discovered that Sitehound causes Firefox 3 to hang for arond 1 second every 12 seconds or so. I couldn't work out what was happening for a while, but after disabling and re-enabling other plugins etc, it was only disabling sitehound that solved the problem. Re-enabling caused the problem to return, so I've had to permanently disable it. Sound in videos continues smoothly but all graphics (including scrolling around pages) stops very briefly every 12 seconds or so which is rather frustrating. I had some difficulty installing sitehound initially (latest version downloaded yesterday), but it did eventually install, but does seem to affect the functionality of Firefox 3
