1. In MailWasher Pro click on Help > About > and check 'Enable Extended Error Logging' >>OK
2. In MailWasher Pro click File > Exit (important that MailWasher Pro be shutdown). Then restart MailWasher Pro. If you are not sure how to start MailWasher Pro then restart your computer and MailWasher Pro may start up and appear as it normally would for you.
3. In MailWasher Pro click 'Check Mail' and then 'Process Mail'. You may have to leave the MailWasher Pro debug running for a day or so to capture the event.
4. In MailWasher Pro click on Help > About > Click the link to where
MailWasherPro stores the data directory.
The directory will be named something like -
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\MailWasherPro
or in Vista
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\MailWasherPro\
A folder will open with various MailWasher Pro files. Leave this folder open (important) as you want to go back to this folder after you shutdown MailWasher Pro.
5. In MailWasher Pro click File > Exit (important that MailWasher Pro be shutdown)
6. Go back to the open MailWasher Pro data director folder (opened in step 4) and either
Copy contents of the text file called MailWasherPro_debug.txt and then paste into the body of your support query email
Or
Attach the file called MailWasherPro_debug.txt to your support query email (preferred option).
